Established in 1994, The St. Lucie County Utility Department (SLCU) has undergone many improvements throughout all the systems as a result of continued customer growth. St. Lucie County Utilities Department has extended water, wastewater and reclaimed water services on North Hutchinson Island, South Hutchinson Island and in the North and Central County.
