December 10, 2007 - Sign Up Underway For Women's Soccer League Starting Jan. 19

Registration is now underway for St. Lucie County's Park & Recreation Department's Women's Soccer League. Games will begin Jan. 19 at the Lawnwood Soccer Field.

The Women's Soccer League is open to women 18 and older. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 - 9 p.m. with games taking place on Saturdays at 3 p.m.

The cost to participate is $200 per team. Teams consist of at least 11 players.

The league provides opportunities for soccer players of all abilities to learn how to play soccer for fun and fitness.
