November 28, 2007 - Lakewood Park Library Offers Woodcraving Every Saturday

The Lakewood Park Branch Library of the St. Lucie County Library System will begin hosting a two-part woodcarving workshop for beginners on Saturday, Dec. 1. These workshops will be held every Saturday at various times through March.

Instructor Joe Miller, a local woodcarver, will assist participants with carving a new wooden figure every two weeks. All materials will be provided by the instructor; however, there is a small fee ($2-$3) for materials.

Registration is required and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
