January 13, 2005 - Morningside Library to Host Editor Robert Fulton Writer's Guild Meeting
The St. Lucie County Library System will host the Treasure Coast Writer's Guild Meeting on Friday, January 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Morningside Library, located at 2410 Morningside Boulevard in Port St. Lucie. The guest speaker is Robert Fulton, Jr., a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and the University of Florida, and freelance writer for literary, conservation and education publications. Mr. Fulton is also a reviewer and editor with Cloudy Mountain Books. He and his wife live on a farm in North Carolina where he edits, writes and teaches at South Piedmont Community College.Mr. Fulton will be talking about his job as an editor, what kind of relationship writers can expect from their editors, and why editors are important. He will also be discussing and signing his book: "But. . .You Know What I Mean! An Editor's Point of View."
