January 24, 2005 - Cold Weather Shelter to Open Tonight in St. Lucie County

St. Lucie County will open a Cold Weather Shelter tonight at Fort Pierce Community Center, located at 600 North Indian River Drive in Fort Pierce. The shelter will open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 25. All guests will need to check in by 11:00 p.m. Screening and ID will be requested. A meal and blankets will be provided. If there are no guests checked in by 11:00 p.m., the shelter will close. For more information, call St. Lucie County Public Safety Department at (772) 465-5770.
