Junior Golf Program

YEAR ROUND RATES

  • Juniors (12 - 17) may walk during normal walking hours without an adult
  • From June 1 - Aug 30, walking Juniors pay $1.00 after 3PM
  • From Sept 1 - May 31 walking Juniors pay $1.00 after 3PM
  • Juniors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Juniors (7 - 17) with an adult (18 years+) may ride for $1.00 from June 1 - Aug 31
  • Junior Golf Coaches recognized by Fairwinds may play with juniors for a cart fee
  • Parents must pay full price at all times
  • Parents who wish to ride in a golf cart while spectating must pay a spectator's cart fee

 

The First Tee

The mission of The First Tee is to teach The First Tee Life Skills, Nine Core Values, Nine Healthy Habits and how they are each learned with Golf Skills knowledge in fun and engaging activities on and off the course.

 

 WHO:  Boys and Girls, ages 7-17
   No Equipment Required
 WHEN:  Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 11am to 12:30pm Free Fun Day for parents and children
   Groups will be arranged by age and golf experience
 COST:  $95 per Child for the 9 week session
   Financial assistance is available for those who qualify

JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY

Instruction covers all areas of golf game:

  • Rules of Golf & Etiquette Section
  • USGA Rules of Golf Book
  • Rules & Etiquette Test
  • Junior Golf Certification
  • Play nine holes following lunch (advanced only)
  • Golf clubs supplied as necessary

 

 WHO:  Beginners & Ages 7 - 11
   Advanced & Ages 12 - 17
 WHEN:  June 12, 13, 14, 2013  Session 1
   June 26, 27, 28, 2013  Session 2
   July 17, 18, 19, 2013  Session 3
   July 24, 25, 26, 2013  Session4
   9AM - 12PM for Beginners
   9AM - 3PM for Advanced
 COST:   $50.00 for Beginners
  $100.00 for Advanced

SLC JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT SERIES

This tournament series is designed to give junior golfers the opportunity to play at a competitive level. Six tournaments will be played at area golf courses. Each tournament has 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies within each flight. Players are flighted based on a combination of age and skill level.

  

 WHO:  Up to High School Graduates
 WHEN:  Mondays & Tuesdays - June 2013
 COST:  $75 for all tournaments
