River Tour on the St. Lucie River | |

3rd Saturday of every month, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Take a leisurely trip down the St. Lucie River by kayak with an Oxbow guide. $15.00 per person. Advanced registration and payment required.

Swamp Tales: (first & third tuesday of the month) Storytime with Ms. Kitty, our volunteer librarian! Learn about animals and wildlife as Ms. Kitty shares some of her favorite books. Best for children ages 2-6. Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
Critter Chat: (second and fourth Tuesday of the month) Meet the Oxbow ambassadors! We have snakes, amphibians, and turtles that live in our center. These animals help us teach visitors about the natural habitats and needs of our native creatures. This informal program will allow guests the opportunity to touch and interact with the animals. All ages welcome. Tuesdays at 3:45 pm. | |
| Nature At Night | |

A three event series that offers visitors a chance to explore nocturnal wildlife and enjoy a night hike on the Oxbow trails. Each program requires advanced purchase and registration. Tickets cost $5 per person, children 3 and under are free.
February 27, 2009: Mammal Madness with Arnold's Wildlife Meet some nocturnal mammals and learn how Arnold's Wildlfe rehabilitates some of Florida's most intresting natives! After the presentation you can join in on a night hike and search for things that go bump in the night.
March 27, 2009: Bat Prowl with Florida Bat Conservancy Find out about natural insect control when you meet the bats of Florida! This presentation will be followed with a Bat Hike using sonar equipment. | |

| Every Saturday a Naturalist will guide visitors on a leisurely walk down the Oxbow trails.
Group meets at 9am on the front porch Free. RSVP required if you have 8 or more people. | |
