Airport Master Plan Update Ongoing.  The Airport Master Plan Update for the St. Lucie County International Airport (FPR) is being undertaken by St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners to identify a long range, orderly direction for airport development which will yield a safe, efficient, economical, and environmentally acceptable air transportation facility. The study is funded with a Florida Department of Transportation grant. The previous Master Plan Update was completed in August 2002. 10/28/2008  4/28/2010
Design/Install Access Control System Ph. 2 Ongoing.  This project is a continuation of an earlier project and provides improvements to the existing security access control system at the Airport. Project include card reader/punch code access systems installations, automatic gate installation, existing automatic gate upgrades, security system software/hardware upgrades. 5/15/2009 3/25/2010
Rehabilitate Runway 9R/27L This project consists of pavement milling and overlay of the primary Runway 9R/27L. 10/1/2009 02/28/2010
Security Fencing Project Ongoing.  This project involves security fence installation at the airport. 01/1/2010 03/31/2010
