Siren Testing Sept. 22-26


FPL will conduct a testing of each of the 90 outdoor warning sirens for the St. Lucie nuclear power Monday, Sept. 22 through Friday, Sept. 26 between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The test will involve a one-minute sounding of each siren within the 10-mile emergency planning zone. 
The inaugural Indian River Lagoon Science Festival will bring science to life on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Museum Pointe Park on South Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce
